What this deck is for
Use it for a second meeting, when a customer has told you their problem and wants to see how you would solve it. It suits service firms, contractors, distributors and anyone who sells to other businesses.
The deck starts with the customer, not with you. Your company appears in slide six, after they have seen that you understood them.
The slides, in order

01Cover
The outcome you deliver, for this customer by name. Your company and the date under it.

02Agenda

10Next step
The one thing you ask them to agree to today, who does what, and by when.
How to present it
- Change the cover and the What we heard slide for every customer. They are the slides that show you listened.
- Ask a question after slide three: "Did we get this right?" A correction then saves the meeting.
- Bring the price yourself. A deck that hides it ends with "we will get back to you".

Questions
How long should a sales deck be?
Ten slides or fewer. A customer meeting is a conversation. The deck keeps it on track.
Should I send the deck before the meeting?
Send the agenda before, and the deck after, with the next step written in the email.
What if I have no customer quotes yet?
Leave the quote slide out. Never write one yourself. Use the Why us slide to show your own work instead.
Use it in Supernatural
Supernatural: everything your business runs on, with Blue as your part-time admin. Present is one of its apps. In your workspace, you ask Blue for “a sales deck for a customer meeting”. Blue starts from this outline, writes in what you give it, and leaves [brackets] where something is missing. Figures you have not given stay as [add the figure], so no number reaches an audience unchecked. Nothing is made until you say yes.
